Hire of same is by negotiation. Users must be experienced players.

Pricing Policy:

Sweetway Studios policy is not to charge by the hour. It puts pressure on players and performers and
encourages 'clock watching' instead of creativity. This is always the cheapest option.
Charges range from $450 - $2,500 per song. (Subject to change without notice)
Projects are assessed individually.
This includes engineering, editing and mixing. Players are by client or producers negotiation.
Sweetway Studios also has a stable of experienced session players who it can recommend.
Mastering charge is separate from the project. This is because it is a whole other mindset.
I encourage the band and or specified producers to participate at every level.
Masters remain on file to DVD/CDR.
And To Power Mac G4 with external hard drives.
These are safety back-ups and are the property of the client but remain at Sweetway Studios as archive.
Payment is immediately pre-mix or pre-master unless by contract. Contracts available and negotiable per project.
All prices are subject to GST.

Time Frame:

All time frames and deadlines are subject to contract or negotiation. I prefer to take the time to get it right and allow time to revisit mixes, assess, and remix if required.
This applies to albums, demos, post production, soundtracks.

Summary:

The philosophy of Sweetway Studios is a simple one.
“To produce a powerful, natural and musical recording that best serves the client.”
Sweetway is a creative and quiet place to record music. It is professional and productive. It is fun.

There are many factors to consider ‘before’ entering the studio.
Your budget, your ability, your image, your players, your singers, your producers.
What is the destination of your material? Who will market and distribute it?
Management + Record company contracts
Do you have sponsors/funding?
At Sweetway Studios there is an emphasis on performance and attitude.
Recording is less about the gear and the media, and more about the ‘ears’ and the attitude.

Bookings essential please.
